I tried em before and didn't care for them. I found the didn't breakdown enough for the roots to grow through very easily. I switched to the large size peat pellets and have not had an issues with transplanting my auto's. I leave em in the dome for a couple days and then into there final pot. It's critical you watch watering em in. I only water around the pellet and let the roots grow out. Hope it helps.✌🏻
