Hey Jesse, hard to say how long drying will take not knowing how much of which is fluctuating. I also live in a very wet and hot climate and my space is basically a 5x15 room and I occupy one end so I also fight dryer heat. You are right on the fresh air and being able to control your environment is so important, I am still trying to improve my air flow especially with new light. Here is what I have.
5000 BTU window mount a/c - This a/c never shuts off like most when temp is reached it is a dial and constantly blows cold air in room.
Dehumidifier 30 pint
3 fans
4" fan from carbon canistor and cut a 4" hole in access door to outside this pulls in fresh air but with the humidity its useless without my dehumidifier
Even with all this I am realizing I still need cooler temps so the plan is to buy a 8000 BTU portable a/c and just hook it to the 4" hose pumping in fresh air this way the other a/c will constantly be pushing in fresh air the new a/c will keep temps where I need them. I have full control of the environment this is why I also use the grow room as my drying room I usually dry at 70 degrees and 55% RH for 10-14 day this harvet got the snap at day 10.
