Germination Question.
Hello,
The dish method worked and the root came out of the seed. But it turned 180 degrees and is parallel to and beside the seed.
Should I plant it with the root down, even if that means the root is pointing up,or should I plant it flat, and cover it with starter mix and keep it damp?
Thank You.

yeah sometimes those do some weird shit..i think id lay it on its side with the end of tap root just a tad lower than the leaf end, but close to level...and cover with a lil soil/mix and moist..but not to deep..shud be ok..GL

What's "the dish method"? Sounds like fun !! Yeah, roots down and green up !! Keep her moist and be careful.

First,thank you. :-)
Second,I misspoke and should have said plate method instead of dish method. (Seed in a folded wet paper towel between two plates)
I've started seeds this way before but this was the first one that did not grow straight out of the seed. Instead,it curled. So, planting it root down was not all that straightforward. So,I sort of cradled it in and will know in a day or three how it turned out.
