When it's gunna be hot mornings are best. That will help to cool roots too.

I like to feed in the morning, unless I need to be at work early. Then I like to feed once the sun sets and not so hot. Don’t guess it matters, will see what others say.

Well they always say a big breakfast is what gets you though the day and I think that works for plants too.
An Egg Mc Muffin, and hash brown combo with a large coffee works for me.
