I saw a couple of guys putting on a roof and it was -3 and windy outside.  I would have died, but it reminded me of building a log cabin outside of Chicago about this time of year in 1980. We had to thaw the logs in order to drive spikes in them without them splitting. After 2 weeks of that my dad's dirty old machine shop was looking pretty damn good.
