Not sure about the party. I left in May,1980. I was uncle Sam's property for 8 years and moved west when I got out. If I remember wright, the last time I seen him was 78 with Sammy Hagar at Cobo Hall.
whiplash bash i think in 87 ? anyways , first time i think i seen him live was at the Silverdome with The Cars opening up for him in 78 as well .
