All our animals have been rescues in the 9 years we were in Mexico my wife spent her time with rescues she picked them up off the streets, bought them from people that couldnt afford them or abused them, these are animals made the ones in commercials look like they had a happy go lucky life.  She set up a network of people from Mexico to Canada to find these animals homes and the ones she couldnt find homes for we kept. We drove a Dodge Durango from Ensenada Mexico to Laconia NH, with 3 dogs, 5 cats and a 200lb Mastiff in February 2001. I mourned the loss of each one of those animals and the  last cat passed a few months ago at 16 years old. Your preaching to the choir and you unintentional touched a nerve.
