I have had many pH metres, somewhat expensive ones too and they will expire even if they are cared for. The expensive one, was the best, 100-200 usd dollar sensor

I had probably 5-8 different cheap ones here for a while, calibratiing liquids etc, and they were all off. Calibrated them, and the next day they would be off again.
