Good picture of a bad mofo. You have to prevent the moth which lays the eggs and it's not easy. I use a spray with BT in it. Google thuricide and you find a bunch of caterpillar moth spray. The best thing is to spray the perimeter of your garden about 10 or more ft. all around. Do some reading, the larvae can bore a hole and travel right up the stem and back out as the worm.

@king not that I know of buddy. There are stronger sprays with more residual effects but that would be kept completely away from the plants.

      King, coons love chickens .
I used to have them, but a lake behind house and neighbors who feed them made keeping chickens difficult.

That sucks big time, I hope you don't lose your whole crop. I had one of my big buds get some white mold on it in the drying tent that really pissed me off. I will be following this as I need to learn how to prevent stuff like this. Good luck and happy growing my friend.

Oddly enough I pulled a black one off my plant indoor a couple of days ago. I had no idea

it caused the red spots. I do think my red spots are bud rot but due to worm poop. I have aabout ten 1X1 inch red spots on what will be a 5 OZ plant. I am gloing to stick unbent paper clips in the red spots when I harveste it so I throw the red spots away when I smoke it. I will keep an eye on the plant to make sure it is not bud rot. Thank you.

The poop is where the bud rot starts. I trim all that off while it's still green.

I hate to see these things happen, and unless you are having a gorilla grow you should check your plants a whole lot so things like this do not happen. These guys are difficult to see as well, and even though you may check your plants every day they can be very hard to locate. I hope you have no more issues like this, and SBL has some good tips for you.  Peace
