Time to start growing again.....

by Dizzajay about Mon at 12:38 PM - report

So my last grow season 2019/2020 was a failure. All the seedlings got eaten and I started way to late.was to hot for seedlings to do well. So this 2020/2021 season I decided to start it early. Just to give a rough idea I start in December last year which was to late.so now I'm popping in September. This season's line up is nirvana original glue, black jack and mystery fem seed gifted on my last order. In the little black pots is regular mango skunk so basically all 5 seeds of the reg pack.going to do some breeding to keep this mango strain.will probably also breed out the rest aswell using cordial silver on clones.since I'm starting so early will have margin for error unlike last year. I'll probably also pop some more wonder woman since I have plenty seeds of that strain.oh and I love smoking the wonder woman.hahaha. So just regular home brewed soil/manure. Mix of chicken ,pig and all sorts of animals.with some wood chips in just to soften it up. They will stay in the pots until they ready for the big hole in the ground. Early bird catches the worm. Happy growing folks will keep y'all updated as we go. I only start counting the days or weeks once the seeds have popped. So this is technically not even day one.hahaha

I hear you king.im a very lazy grower so outside it is for me.sometimes you win sometimes you lose.but damn that time when you do win makes it worthwhile. My last big success gave me enough for more then 2 years.hence I was to relaxed on my last grow.cuz ...  more

I grew 2 Blackjacks indoors last year. Nice strain and great plant structure. I topped once and used tomato cages to train and hold the colas. Lots of growers on WP like the original glue but I haven't tried it yet.

The days now are short enough to put the plants into flower, and i hope you know this. Your plants, unless you keep them inside will not have a very long veg period. I don't know if you have thought about this or not. You can still grow some nice plants outside, but they will probably not have many side branches. Some growers who can grow outside in the fall and winter plant this time of year so they can get single cola plants. They end up with usually one large main cola on each plant. I wish you the best and look forward to your next update.  Peace

It must be nice to be able to grow this time of the year outdoors!? It will be to cold to grow in my region in a month or so. The days are definately short this time of year. As harley mentioned, you will need added lighting or indoor growth to keep them from going into flower on you outside. Please keep us updated! Have fun and happy growing my friend!!
