Switching to flowering Solved

by Mark49 about February 13 - report

Hello all,My 8 plants, 4 sherbet cookies and 4 Hawaii maui waui I experimented with LST and due to that it took about 9.5 weeks in veg before I was ready to switch to flowering. These are all feminized plants by the way.So, I switched to 12/12 on/off lights about 5 days ago.I haven't seen a pistal ( white hairs) yet.So, my question is when are my plants going to show white hairs and start the flowering process?

7 to 10 days is best bet.

Males tend to show their shit faster than females. If your after 7 days and nothing yet, chances on it being a female increase! Patience my brother!

It can take from 7 to 21 days for plants to show signs of flowering, so just be patient, they will flower. Also make sure you have zero light leaks in your grow space. Light leaks will cause the plants to not flower as quickly, so check that out to be sure you have no light leaks. Other than that just be patient and it will happen. Those little white hairs will be starring you in the face one day when you go to check them out.  Best of luck to you.  Peace

Yup, idk why but some can take 3 wks. I think the age of the plant has something to do with it.

Yes it can take up to 2 weeks to show signs of flower and sometimes even longer. A lot of growers add a bud booster like Dry Koolbloom or MOAB the first week of the flip to get them going. Are you ready for the stretch?

It might can take up to that long but I usually have pistils in less than a week on all my plants! You need to make sure your light is off for 12 hours a day. Out of 8 plants it looks like you would have at least one showing sex by now! They are getting total darkness? 12 hours a day? I would visully check and make sure myself! Good luck and happy flowering my friend!

Do you add a bud booster when you flip?

I have been using a booster for a while, it was MOAB now its Open Sesame. But they generally show signs I can see within a week. I dont remember how long it took before.

Thats another reason Autos suck, they just start showing pistils when ever they want, no build up, nothing. It like losing your virginity when your passed out, no thrill at all

You can turn the lights out for 24-48 hours to help the plants flower.
