Proper Height of LED's

by Kevo about October 17 - report

Hello.  I have a 36: by 36: By 60 in.  I have two Bestva 1200 Watt LED's about 30 in. above two

Northern Light Autos in veg. state. I'm weary of LED's, so maybe someone may be able to give me some suggestion. I'm growing in a Tent with good ventilation. I have a small electric heater that switches on when the temp gets to 70 F.

That's a lot of light for the height of your tent imo. Im not familiar with the bestvas but once your plant gets 2 to 3ft tall youre not going to have enough distance. Maybe someone one here uses the bestvas and will chime in.

The actual power draw for this light is 258w. Bestva recomends 40" above the canopy which seems high compared to other lights. I haven't used mine yet but I am going to start at 24" an keep an eye on the leaves for any sign of light burn. Like Marlboro said you may run out of space if you are already at 36".

I'd like to hear from someone already using one of these lights too.

Harley24 uses Bestva and I remember him saying they have a high hanging height. Try a PM to Harley if he doesn't chime in.
