I have a 2 for 1 post, pretty neat. Solved

by pipeman69 about May 22 - report

Ok so first off I would like to introduce 2 new strains to my grow, an afghan milk x aurora indica. I have one going in rdwc and one going in soil. Both are about 14 days old, the one in rdwc well, this strain hated the start and is now just finally showing signs of adapting to the aggressive life.

The 2ND in my post, I started the one in fox farms  happy frog soio like I do with all my seedlings. Jimnirvana pretty much told me today, "they say it's smarter to mix the ff soil cause it's too hot".

Well like he said they say, but they in his response is someone else not him. I say fuck them because I say this is hands on experience and the proof is in my soil grows. Ff happy frog soil from seedlings, no perlite, just rapid start and great white. This is my results! Here is the results and a perfect hands on experience situation not a because Joe shmo said so.

This aurora xx is a beast and a treat indeed! I'm dying to what see what she can do hydro.

If my plant looks like it's in soil that's too hot, help a brother out!

Peace!!!

I just love it when people tell me I can’t do something I have already done.I don’t know anything about Afghan Milk but those leaves look like Aurora’s. Which one is the mother?

She had a real tough start in hydro dude but everyday she's showing great signs! I'm flipping this tent next weekend, it will be a 4 week veg and I have no doubt she's gonna please! Last time I grew her, her leaves were an exotic black. Not sure if you re...  more

Yeah and that was before it had been feminized. I actually think the feminized version has the best phenos. You are most likely the first to grow it in hydro. This baby will do whatever you ask it to do. Hope it goes well!

Looking good brother!!! Screw the nay Sayers! It shows who grows & who knows. I've always ran hot homemade soil and it's a delicate balance if you know what your doing. So what's gonna be the name of the new strain ? Anywho they look great and try not to fry them! lol

I grew her 2 years ago and shes a heavy feeder that's why I thought she'd be ok in hydro, tough start but man she really is coming to life! Defoliation this weekend so inner growth can breath!

I'll tell you what I just saw and experienced: I put my seedlings in HF and a buddy (inexperienced grower) put his in OF at approx.. the same time. His are ready to set out, mine are behind. I think the key is to have an excellent root system before you t...  more

I definently agree sbl! I personally have been sticking with HF for the entire grow and backing off the ocean forest only because I've become a bit more aggressive with my feeding so the hotter soil really works against me.

True that but I checked a couple of his before he transplanted and they had really extensive root systems. Also he used those hexagon planting cells and just peat/perlite mix. IDK but they claim those create a better seedling root system...looks like it m...  more
