Is this normal Solved

by Jbhayes about May 19, 2019 - report

Day 10 of White Banner, is it time for some nuts and/or some Calmag. Not the best picture. They're in 5gllon fabric pots will coco/perlite/blood meal. With 2 inch layer of pumice on the top (read it's helps to prevent gnats) Crop King said wait 2 weeks, I'm thinking 10 days is close enough

I grow in coco and whoever told you to add bloodmeal and pumice probably didnt know what they were talking about. You should never have a gnat problem in coco and with your A and B along with calmag is all you need right now. And of course a root supplement is a must.

You must give it calmag and at this point I'm already feeding small amounts of my nutes and my root supplements. I can't really give you good advice with having bloodmeal mixed in with your coco. I rinse the coco really well before i use it to get out all...  more

Honestly bro I would prepare another pot with out the bloodmeal and no rocks on top. Try to repot and start with clean ph water and a little calmag and let everything clear up. What light are you using and distance?

Looks like your camera was smoking, lol! I agree on 10 days...I often mix up a 1/2 strenth dose of fish emulsion and start them on that at 5 to 7 days. You can tell if the plant is vigorous enough to handle it. Roots are most important at this stage. Good luck!

Careful with that blood meal. It can make for a hot nitrogen mess that.can burn your plant. I see your in coco/perulite which I've never grown in only that. I understand you feed & water daily but I would throw caution in case your a little hot. I use it in my outdoor grows. Great organic way to add nitrogen. Bone meal is good for your p & k also.

Kelp meal for your cal mag needs as well if your goal is organic.

I don’t grow in coco but I don’t feed until about the end of week 2 anything. Not even calmag. Coco growers will point you in the right direction. Good luck and happy growing my friend!
