Found seeds in my first harvested bud Solved

by Gonzo393 about May 15, 2019 - report

Hi All......I'm currently growing 3 Candy Kush Express plants and started harvesting 4 days ago. The attached photos are what is still to be harvested.I've just smoked a sample of it.....(Yes I know it's way too soon, but it was just the one customary sample to get an indicative idea of what to expect. No more for 3-4 months I promise

Yep she must have been stressed in some manor along the way. Could be many things caused it.To high heat etc.

Rodelization is using the female plant's own self-preservation mechanism. Often, when a female plant becomes stressed or is nearing the end of its life cycle without being fertilized, it will grow pollen sacs to fertilize itself

No male plants about. All 3 plants were planted from same batch of demonized seeds sourced online. A very pleasant smoke so far!

???   Seems Google doesn't even know what "rodenasation" is.

Seriously not trying to be asshole, but, what the fuck is it? I've never heard of it, and would like to know more.

Or intentionally stress with colloidal silver :D ... feminized seeds made by herms! They will be all female BUT may produce other herms, small %. I would be doing the happy dance! NEW genetic material to freshen the mommies with!

SCREWSTICK is correct. Rhodilization is when a plant tries to reproduce itself towards end of life. You probably are gonna have a few nanners but this late in the game just as long no other female plants are around, nothing to be alarmed about.

Rhodilization more like the process the plant goes through when it makes seeds on its own. I have only had that once and I have had nanners a couple of times. For me the nanners show up at the end of the grow so I dont think there was time for seeds to mature.

Nice looking grow! but those shiny leaves mean something is out of balance probably too much nitrogen. I’ve had this happen on the lower colas before and flushed the plants for a few days and it started clearing up

My last batch had seeds not a lot a few just save them see if they grow think of it as a bonus I didn't have any males around. Like someone said it is there last ditch effort to reproduce.

actually im just learning from this post. Just yesterday i found one lonesome seed in some of the bud i broke up out of my recent Blue Dream harvest.

also as a grower you are allowed to take samples. consider it part of the job. just like a chef might take a taste test
