How would you guys rate Nirvana's germination?

by pipeman69 about June 29, 2017 - report

Ok I honestly have to say I'm totally blown away by the success rate I have with nirvana beans ever since I purchased my first beans from them about 4 years ago. I have and germinated,

Aurora indica, nypd, bubbalicious, super skunk, northern lights, jock horror, papaya, misty kush, master kush, swiss af, lemon haze og af, og kush af, my germination success rate is 100%!

On sunday, 3 days ago I just dropped 10 beans, 8 of them from nirvana, and one being an aurora indica from like 3 maybe 4 years ago, and  again, every bean popped! Way to go nirvana!

I think they sell the freshest , most viable seeds I've ever planted.  I had issues with only one not surviving the germination but that was my fault.. seed casing was stuck on plant and I forgot about the thing until too late. A little misting would have saved it.  Great service too.

I do have a few wishes with the company however. I wish they offered more autos and I wish they gave auto growers some deals like the photo period folks get. More autos is the most wished for however.

All of mine have sprouted. I did have some sprout slow like 15 days it took but that was my fault I think. I'd put them in the fridge for a year before I remembered they were there. I think they have wonderful beans and service..They bend over backwards to make you happy.. Nirvana is the only place I've ever purchased seeds. Don't know how I could do better any place else. Yep more Autos would be nice like Crazy Train Autoflower to name one...Better deals would be nice..

I've germinated Papaya, Snow White, AI, Blue Mystic, Wonder Woman, AK48 and Master Kush (last three are 2 wks from seed). I have to say 100% success. The only plants that didn't make it were my fault with rookie mistakes. But they all popped.

I have only ordered(or have gotten) 60 beans from nirvana...I have some Kaya Beans I have had almost 2 years in the fridge...never had a germination issue(other than my own stupidity at the begining) with any of them..even freebies...I still have 2 Kaya...2 Misty..5 short rider..and a few Blueberry...and have confidence they will all produce 200% what I paid for each and every bean...I use no other(exept my own feminized seeds)...I thank Jimbo for getting me to buy my first order....

I have to agree, very viable seeds. And, my brotha, that is THE method as far as I'm concerned. I think any time you buy directly from the breeder, you are better off for it. Nobody wants to go through the hassle of obtaining illegal items then the shit's no good, lol. I've done it.

I would say Nirvana is about 95% but I am about 45%.  I suspect I am drowning them so this time I didn’t soak my roto rooters, I just dropped the seeds straight into rapid rooters out of the bag. I have about 1/4 inch of tap water in the bottom of the tray, tomorrow morning I will dump that and just add water if they dry out.  SBL had a post about germination a week or so ago so I am following his advice. From this and your previous post it looks like you use the same method. Showing signs of growth in 3 days is awesome.

I just soak my cubes for 1hr, squeeze them lightly and drop my seed. I fill my tray till it just covers the bottom. I add about 8 oz of water to the tray per day. I use a heat mat so it evaps the water s little but by day 4, today, heat mat gets unplugged...  more

Thanks, I put the heat mat under it today, I will leave it for 3 more days and see what happens.
