The biggest issue I forecast with the flood table, is plant movement. I thought about loading it up with 6 inch Rockwool cubes, but when it floods, things get a little loose in there. I figured if I cram it full of hydroton, things should stay packed in pretty well.

If things do move around you can always add a net to keep them in place, we need that for potted plants sometimes so it makes sense to me to use it in Ebb & Flow.
