There are good apps out there that will do a good job of letting you know if you are giving them too much light, whether ppfd or lux. Depending on your phone they can be quite accurate sometimes.
I agree with Mark...I think they are fine...got to remember they are autos so the genetics have been fooled with...Some goofy looking leaves or something of the sort is not a surprise...Like Mark said there are some good apps for your phone to measure your ppfd...
