like rick sed..either way is, up to the grower..you will fill up the net during veg stage better and faster..but when i doit like that in veg i wait till net is bout 3/4 filled or to point i want it..and then flip to 12/12..it will still stretch more at ferst of bloom a while so u can continue to fill up net more...GL
I start my Scrog as soon as I have topped my plants. Ultimately what you are trying to do is create more bud sites by exposing more of the plant to direct light.
I was at work when I first read your post so I didn't have time to give a good reply. I like to keep my net holes pretty tight (under 2") so that I have to move my plants one space almost every day. You will see new development that is now exposed that will now start growing more rapidly. Keep in mind the stretch! I usually flip when my net is 2/3rds full.
you can do either there are 2 schools of thought on that...I personally prefer the HHT style myself, I would say most probably do it from veg...
