Has anyone ever used these with there plants? Particularly Autos. Being as transplanting can be harmful with Autoflowers.
As the seedling grows into the pot the roots grow through the jiffy pot.
Im thinking it might be a good alternative to a traditional transplant?
Do these work well with indoor MJ plants? Growing in Coco Coir

Certainly worth a try. Can't say I have used those pots but similar ones. I would probably put that pot in a mesh pot so it didn't crumble if I moved it.
I tried em before and didn't care for them. I found the didn't breakdown enough for the roots to grow through very easily. I switched to the large size peat pellets and have not had an issues with transplanting my auto's. I leave em in the dome for a couple days and then into there final pot. It's critical you watch watering em in. I only water around the pellet and let the roots grow out. Hope it helps.✌🏻
maybe cut the bottoms out of them so the roots can take off more easily
I use jiffy pellets and put them in their final pot when they start to show roots...I don't transplant...
Those are the ones I use. I cut them almost into quarters but not all the way. When ready for transplant, you just tear the pot and you end up with a great dirt plug ready to drop in it's new home.
What do you mean by cut into quarters?
I think the way they are supposed to work is the roots grow through the cup and it should if those are made from peat and coco coir. Personally I think Jiffy makes great peanut butter and that's about it.
yes the peat cups are supposed to decompose but that actually takes a long time! theyre pretty solid
